The Sharks finally point to the posts after winning another penalty, this time for hands in the ruck. Lambie nails it on the stroke of half time to send his side in at half time just four points down. Join us for the second half, as we see if the teams can improve on what has been so far a lacklustre performance form both sides.

2 minutes to go in the first half, the Sharks are kicking very gettable penalties to the corner looking for a decisive score before half time. Cheetahs defence looks good however.

A try from nothing comes for the Cheetahs after 32 minutes. Brussow turns the ball over in his own 22 and hacks the ball clear, with Rhule in chase. He puts pressure on the retreating Sharks defenders who make an error collecting the ball, allowing Rhule to hack the ball on and score under the sticks. Francis adds the extras.

With nearly 30 minutes gone we are still scoreless but the Cheetahs are trying thier best to unlock the Sharks defence. After some good recycling by the Cheetahs Rhule stabs a kick in behind the Sharks defence and regains it over the line but the play is brought back for a knock on.

20 minutes gone and the game remains scoreless, the weather making handling very difficult. The Sharks are on the attack using their forward, but attacking is difficult in this wet weather.

Despite the conditions we've had a lively start, with the Cheetahs just going close to scoring after a great break from scrum half Van Zyl. The Sharks howeve scramble well and force a turnover. Still scoreless 10 minutes gone.

Conference leading Sharks will be looking to strengthen there position against a Cheetahs side who are having a fine season after a very succesful Australian tour.
