Scarlets start well with a rolling maul off a line out inside the Treviso half, Valerio Bernabo penalised for collapsing the maul allowing Steve Shingler to add the 3 points from the kick.
Tobias Botes gets us kicked off for the second half here at Parc Y Scarlets. Both teams will start the second half with 14 men after two yellow cards late in the first half.
End of the first half sees Scarlets go in leading by 11 points. Scarlets started off very strong dominating the scrums and creating space allowing them to get two tries in 15 minutes. From then on the game has been dominated by back and fourth rugby but mainly ill-discipline by both sides. Hopefully we wil see more fast flowing rugby in the second half and less ill discipline.
Come on scarlets
Referee David Wilkinson goes to the pocket after more ill-discipline by both sides. Alberto di Bernardo throws the ball at Gareth Davies and Davies reacts by hitting Bernardo in the face. Un-necessary by both players after the whistle was blown.
Both teams again warned by referee David Wilkinson about ill-discipline. If this continues we may see a card soon.
Treviso get one back in the scrum winning a penalty with Alberto di Bernardo sending the kicking into the Scarlets 22.
Another powerful scrum by the Llanelli men on the Treviso 5m line, against the head the Italian men were driven back and the ball popped out of the scrum allowing Gareth Davies to dive over the line for his second try.
Miss kick by Tobias Botes nearly leads to another Llanelii try. Great game we have so far Scarlets are looking to use their backs as much as possible giving us a very fast game of rugby.
A very strong scrum on the half from the Scarlets pushed the Treviso scrum back 5 metres with Gareth Davies making a great break to go all the way and score the try. Steve Shingler with the conversion.
