Remember that the Dragons are already through to the Challenge Cup quarter-finals. Tonight's result will determine whether or not they win Pool 2 and get a home draw. If Sale Sharks win, then they will take the main prize and become the third English premiership side through to the last eight after Harlequins and Gloucester Rugby
The Sale Sharks host the Newport Gwent Dragons in a top of the pool clash in round 6 of the European Rugby Challenge Cup.
Both these sides have won four and lost just one of their five pool matches. Newport however tops the pool by virtue of picking up two more bonus points from their games and has already qualified for the quarter finals.
Sale is coming off a 27-3 victory over Pau, whereas Newport defeated Castres 31-18 in the previous round.
When these two sides met in the opening round, the Dragons ran out 30-12 victors.
With top of the pool on the line this should be a cracking encounter as Sale have to win in order to ensure progression to the knock out rounds.
