Bath take a 24-10 lead over the Sale Sharks into halftime. Bath got off to the perfect start with a try just two minutes in, with Sale getting on the board with a penalty midway through the half. Bath cancelled that out with a penalty shortly after, but Sale hit back with their first try to level matters at 10-10. Bath ran in a second try around the half hour mark and would finish the half in style, with their third try giving them a 14 point advantage at the break.
