The Pumas host the Sharks in round one of the Currie Cup Premier Division.
The Pumas came through the qualification matches, finishing fourth on the log with ten wins from their 14 matches. The Pumas defeated the Sharks in the qualifying matches 35-13, but it will be a different side they now face with some Super Rugby players returning for the Sharks.
The Sharks were already assured a place in the competition and will look to improve on their fifth placed finish last year. The Sharks ended up tenth on the qualification log, with just six wins from 14 matches.
