A minute later, the ball is back in Welsh hands and Grabham makes a terrific break down the left wing. The Connacht defence recovers well though, and force a knock-on.
Ospreys steal a line-out in Connacht territory and look to attack out wide - but they're caught off their feet by Referee John Lacey and Connacht relieve pressure with a boot downfield.
Connacht finding some rhythm after an unsettled start - Bundee Aki, Connacht's new signing from the Chiefs, impresses with his first touch of the ball, blasting over the gain-line and earning ten metres.
A minute later though, Connacht concede another - when Kearney fails to roll away. Davies makes no mistakes with this one, and Ospreys pull in front.
Davies kicks off on a mild dry evening in Swansea. Marmion collects and Connaught begin to build the phases - but Ospreys earn a turnover on halfway and three phases later, Layden is penalised for a deliberate knock on. Davies' penalty kick fall short though.
Connacht have struggled with this fixture in recent years winning only once against the Ospreys since the season of 2007/08. Ospreys will carry momentum into this game too - they've had a strong start to their PRO12 season, winning all 6 of their opening games and have lost just once in the Liberty since January. However Connacht are unbeaten by the Welsh sides this season, trumping Newport Gwent Dragons and Cardiff Blues so far. A win tonight would give the Irishmen a big lift ahead of the international break. Kick off on the way.
