Not much use as my first tryscorer now!
Cronin touches down for try number two. Leinster showing their ruthless efficiency in attack. After absorbing copious amounts of Parisian possession, they strike back with another. Boss delivers a fantastic box kick in behind a disorganised Stade defence. Conway provides the chase, collects, and then slips the offload to Cronin who strolls over for the try.
Leinster coach .. Take a bow!
Fantastic try
Man Cronin!
Good try Cronin
The Parisians earn a scrum inside their own half. McGrath concedes a penalty under enormous pressure from Slimani, and Stade are then awarded a penalty. The ball is kicked to touch and possession secured.. They look to build the phases, with Williams prominent in the attack. But a knock-on comes and Leinster are allowed relieve pressure.
Stade have enjoyed 60% of possession in the first 12 minutes. Whilst they've looked imaginative with ball in hand, their accuracy has let them down somewhat..
A commanding Stade scrum on half way puts Leinster on the back foot. Heaslip splits from the rear but loses the ball in the ensuing ruck. Stade sweep the ball wide and attack down the fringes. Fortunately for Leinster, Nacewa arrives with an important tackle a metre from the Blue try line. Leinster win a line-out and the ball is cleared.
The first big opportunity leads to try number one. Isaac Boss sends Nacewa through a gaping hole in the Stade defence with a beautiful inside pass. Nacewa bolts down-field before linking with Sexton and then Madigan for the try. Sexton converts from in front. Demoralising start for the visitors.
