And the decision reached is that there was a forward pass on the Golden Lions 22 so no try awarded.
Griquas have crossed for what would be their fourth try, however the TMO is currently reviewing a number of elements in the lead up to the try.
Ryno Barnes, generally conisdered a hooker, enters in place of tighthead Nick Schonert. It will be interesting to see does this have any impact on their ability at scrum time.
I feel the players go to ground too easy while they can still be gaining ground.

Some confusion just on the stroke of half time as the Golden Lions sought to keep the ball alive in search of a try. They eventually knocked on and as Griquas recovered possession and looked to be through for a try before the referee blew for half time. He deemed the ball had also been knocked on by Griquas in the same passage of play.
Brummer judges the wind well to add two points to the Griquas total.
Sheer strength and determination see's Carel Greeff crossing fro Griquas' third try. The number 8 picked off the base of a 5 meter scrum and handed off numerous tackles before touching down.
