Ulster take a 13-3 lead over Connacht into halftime. Connacht opened the scoring with a penalty midway through the half, but that was cancelled out by an Ulster shot at goal shortly after. Connacht crossed for the first try of the match after 33 minutes and they added a late penalty for a ten point advantage at the break.
