Racing Metro suffer a blow as Antoine Battut is sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes after not supporting his body weight at the ruck in a promising position for Castres after Rory Kockott made a great break. Kockott takes the penalty and adds three points to his tally.
Not many points so far in this game, Metro holding Castres attempts to break the dead lock with very solid defence. Maxime Machenaud really trying to create gaps in the Castres defence but he is not getting through.
Both teams still looking to get into the game, a lot of back and forward play with Castres still to score points on the board. Great sunny day in the south of France, no excuses for handling errors to be made today.
We our off here in Castres and only 2 minutes into the game before the first points are scored, through a drop goal from Benjamin Lapeyre.
The teams have been confirmed with Irish out-half Jonny Sexton playing solid rugby and in good kicking form Castres will look to minimize their penalty count. Castres have a very strong team out including B&I Lion Richie Gray who will look to get back to top form.
Good evening and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's coverage of this Top 14 round 8 fixture between Castres and Racing Metro. Metro will look to continue their run of good form in the Top 14 while Castres will be trying to get some consistency into their game as they have only won 3 of their last 7 games in the league. Castres come out on top of the head to head beating Racing in the past four out of five encounters between the sides. Hopefully we will see a fine game of French rugby today in the Stade Pierre Antoine.
Come on Sexdoss, do your thing ****!!!
