As was expected a fairly evenly matched game with neither side willing to give an inch. Province did most of the attacking and spent the majority of the game inside the Bulls half. The Bulls defense worked well as a unit and competed well on the ground but, were guilty of unnecessary transgressions which cost them their lead. Province playing into the wind did well to keep the ball inside the opposing half but, failed to capitalize on one or two scoring opportunities with kicks into touch being chosen over the kicks at goal.
