Bath take a 7-6 lead over Gloucester into halftime. The Cherry and Whites picked up a red card just eight minutes in, but despite their numerical disadvantage managed to keep the scoreboard ticking over, slotting two penalties to open up a 6-0 lead. Bath would finally make their extra man count with a try in the final minute of the half to take a one point advantage into the break.
