Marco Manfredi, born on September 18, 1997, is an Italian rugby union player who primarily plays as a hooker. He currently represents Zebre in the Pro14.
Manfredi's rugby journey saw him play for various teams and develop his skills along the way. From 2016 to 2018, he was part of the Espoirs team of Montpellier Hérault in France. During the 2017-18 Pro14 season, while under contract with Calvisano, he was named as a Permit Player for Zebre in the Pro14.
His talent and potential were recognized at the youth level, and in 2016, Manfredi was selected for the Italy Under 20 squad. This opportunity allowed him to showcase his abilities on the international stage.
On January 29, 2023, Manfredi received a significant call-up to the Italian national team. He was selected by head coach Kieran Crowley to be part of the 33-man squad for the 2023 Six Nations Championship. He made his debut in the final match of the tournament against Scotland, marking his first appearance at the senior international level.
Currently, Manfredi continues to play for Zebre in the Pro14, where he contributes his skills as a hooker.
