Julien Tastet

27th Jan 1987 1.87m/101kg Head Coach

A select few professional rugby players in the modern game spend their entire career at one club but Julien Tastet in certainly one of them.

Joining the club at the age of 10, Tastet represented Mont-de-Marsan (AKA Stade Montois) his entire career working his way through the Academy and eventually captaining the senior side.

An international at youth level, Tastet never made it at the highest level but made well over 300 appearances for his boyhood side.

In June 2015, he was selected for the French Barbarians to participate in the tour in Argentina and face the Pumas.

While he spent most of his career playing on the side of the scrum in the PROD2, he did represent the club in the TOP14 and Challenge Cup.

In 2020, he called time on his career and immediately moved into the backroom staff of the club.

It did not take long for him to move into the head coach role of the club.
