Heiichiro Ito (伊藤 平一郎, Itō Heiichirō, born 5 October 1990) is a Japanese international rugby union player who primarily plays as a prop. He is currently associated with the Sunwolves in Super Rugby and Yamaha Júbilo in Japan's domestic Top League.
Ito joined Yamaha Júbilo before the start of the 2014–15 Top League season, although he had to wait until the following year to make his debut. Initially, he mostly made appearances as a replacement during the 2015–16 season. However, in the subsequent season, he established himself as a regular starter in the team.
In terms of international rugby, Ito was among the Yamaha Júbilo players who received their first call-up to Japan's senior squad before the 2016 end-of-year rugby union internationals. He made his international debut as a substitute in the first game of new head coach Jamie Joseph, which ended in a 54-20 defeat to Argentina.
Since then, Ito has been a consistent presence in Super Rugby, representing the Sunwolves in the 2017 season. He has also earned four caps for the Japanese national team, and he is expected to add to his international appearances during the 2017 June internationals against Romania and Ireland.
