Watkins, who graduated through the Bristol's academy, has made 116 first team appearances, scoring 66 tries for the side before ending his tenure and joining Jersey Reds for the 2016/17 season.
Watkins will be leaving Jersey Reds at the end of the 2016/17 season to join Yorkshire Carnegie.
