Hailing from Cidade de Deus (City of God), Yasmim Soares began her rugby journey through a
social project in Rio de Janeiro. With a background in athletics (having competed in 100
metres), she now shines as one of the top Yaras 7s athletes on the SVNS.
She was selected to play for Brazil Women at the 2025 Rugby World Cup
