Sharks secure 26-20 victory over Leinster

The Sharks claimed a hard-fought 26-20 victory over Leinster in their United Rugby Championship Round 2 clash at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban.
Leinster made a strong start, with Robbie Henshaw opening the scoring in the 16th minute. The Sharks responded through Manu Tshituka, before the visitors regained the lead through a try by Thomas Clarkson. However, the hosts finished the first half strongly, with Litelihle Bester crossing in the 40th minute and Vusi Moyo adding the conversion to give the Sharks a 14-12 half-time lead.
Clarkson scored his second try shortly after the break to put Leinster back in front, with Sam Prendergast extending their advantage through a penalty. The Sharks responded with a crucial late surge, as André Esterhuizen crossed in the 68th minute following excellent work from Eben Etzebeth. Moyo's conversion put the hosts ahead before he added a penalty to stretch the lead.
Edwill van der Merwe then intercepted a pass and raced away for a decisive try in the 77th minute. Leinster managed a late consolation through Andrew Osborne, but the Sharks held on to secure a six-point victory.
