Gloucester Rugby to play Leicester Tigers

After back-to-back wins to kick-start the 2026/27 Gallagher PREM campaign, the table-topping Cherry & Whites face a tough test when they travel to Mattioli Woods Welford Road to face Leicester Tigers tomorrow evening.

There are two changes to the Gloucester Rugby side that dismantled Harlequins at Kingsholm last weekend, with Ben Redshaw replacing George Barton at full back and Dian Bleuler coming in for Val Rapava Ruskin in the front row.

Bleuler packs down with captain, Dewi Lake, and Afo Fasogbon, with support coming from Jean Kleyn and Arthur Clark in the second row.

The loose trio of Freddie Thomas, Jac Morgan and Will Trenholm combine once more.

Caolan Englefield and Charlie Atkinson keep up their partnership at half backs, with the midfield of Seb Atkinson and Will Joseph unchanged. Ben Loader and Ollie Thorley start either side of Redshaw in the back three.

On the bench, there's a welcome return for Welsh international, Max Llewellyn. He covers the backs with Barton and Dan Robson. Academy graduate, Harrison Bellamy comes onto the bench with Rapava Ruskin dropping out; he covers the front row with Jack Innard and Ciaran Knight. Jack Clement and Lewis Ludlow also wait in the wings.
