Starting his career at Clermont, Combezou made the move to La Rochelle but left the club for Montpellier following their relegation.
After 3 seasons at Montpellier the midfielder made his move to Castres in 2014 where he cemented his spot in the squad.
As of December 2019, Combezou has had 146 appearances scoring 165 points for the French squad.
