Thibaut was born in Seclin in the North and started rugby in Cahors.
He then joined the Montauban club before making his debut at the Stade in 2016.
His club performances allowed him to evolve in the French U20 team at the 2019 World Cup and to win the title with his young teammates.
He has been included in the Toulouse squad for the 2020 Top 14 season.
