Théo Lachaud began playing rugby at US Seynoise in the Var region. The following year, he joined Toulon to continue his development at the highest level of French rugby. In 2017, he won his first title with the red and blacks, becoming French Crabos champion against Agen.
The hooker continued his rise and gained international experience with the French U20 team. He was part of the generation that won the U20 World Championship in 2019, alongside players like Vincent Pinto from Colomiers! He started and scored a try in the final against Australia.
After his development at Toulon, Théo Lachaud made his professional debut by signing with Aurillac in 2021 in Pro D2. In two seasons in the Cantal region, he played 31 matches, starting 12 of them. He then moved to the Nationale league, joining RC Hyères Carqueiranne La Crau in 2023 where he participated in eight matches and scored four tries.
