Temo Mayanavanua, born on November 9, 1997, is a Fijian rugby union player known for his contributions as a lock. He currently plays for Lyon in the Top 14 league.

Mayanavanua joined Lyon in 2020 after previously representing Northland in the Mitre 10 Cup. He is recognized for his power and physicality, making him a valuable asset in the forward pack. Additionally, he has showcased his versatility by occasionally playing on the side of the scrum.

In his earlier years, Mayanavanua captained the Fiji under-20s team, highlighting his leadership qualities and rugby acumen. He gained experience playing for Fiji Warriors before securing a contract with Northland.

After joining Lyon as a medical joker in December 2020, Mayanavanua impressed with his performances in the Top 14. As a result, he signed a new contract with Lyon in April 2021, extending his stay until the end of the 2022/23 season.

Mayanavanua made his international debut for Fiji against Georgia in December 2020, representing his country at the highest level. His inclusion in the national team reflects his talent and potential to contribute to Fiji's success on the international stage.

Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Mayanavanua has been named in the training squad for Fiji.
