Ballymena clubman Agnew became a mainstay of the Ireland U20 backrow during the 2018 U20 Six Nations tournament.
After a stellar season for club and province, Agnew was the winner of the Ken Goodall Outstanding Club Player of the Year award in Ulster this season and was also nominated for the CD Group Ulster 'A' Player of the Year honour.
He was named in the Ireland U20 squad for the 2018 World Rugby U20 Championship in France.
