Piers O'Conor, born on August 28, 1995, is an English rugby union player who primarily plays as a fullback for Bristol Bears in Premiership Rugby.
Although born in Sydney, Australia, O'Conor is qualified to represent multiple countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, and England. He has played at the international level for both Ireland under-19s and England under-20s.
O'Conor's rugby journey started at Cumnor House School when he was seven years old. He played for various clubs in Sussex and achieved success, including winning the national U-17s Bowl with Heathfield and Waldron in 2012. Later, he attended Eastbourne College, where he was coached by Russell Earnshaw.
After representing Ireland under-19s in 2013, O'Conor signed with Wasps. He made his debut for the team in November 2014 in the LV Cup against Sale. In 2017, he moved to Ealing Trailfinders in the RFU Championship and played for one season before joining Bristol Bears, who had been promoted to Premiership Rugby.
Throughout his career, O'Conor has showcased his skills and versatility on the field. He made notable appearances for England under-20s, including scoring a stunning long-range try in a victory over Ireland. His loan spell with Bedford Blues during his time at Wasps left a lasting impression on Ealing Trailfinders' fans.
