Colwyn Bay born Leach joined the Dragons in the summer of 2009, after impressing Dragons coaching staff during a pre-season training camp in Aberystwyth. The Dragons secured Pat despite interest from English clubs Worcester and Gloucester. The young centre has previously played for Manchester in the English First Division, as well as for Orrell and Cheshire. Unfortunately, Pat sustained an ankle injury shortly after joining the region and missed much of the 2009/10 season. Working hard with our rehab physio team and having played for Newport, he managed to make his Dragons debut against the Ospreys in May 2010.
