Pasilio Tosi (full name Viliami Pasilio Tosi, was born in Levin and attended Rotorua Boys' High School and began his career as a powerful number eight before making the successful transition to prop.
Tosi made his provincial debut for Southland in 2018 before joining Bay of Plenty in 2021. Outstanding performances during the NPC earned him a Hurricanes contract ahead of the 2022 Super Rugby Pacific season.
He received his first All Blacks call up in 2024 and made his Test debut against Fiji, becoming All Black No. 1219. Tosi remained an important member of the New Zealand squad through 2025 and 2026 while helping the Hurricanes win the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific title.
