Huete,a 2m prop has played for various teams over the past thirteen years. In 2010/11 he played for Tasman in the NPC, 2012/13 Pau in the Pro D2, 2014/15 Massy in the Pro D2. From the later 2016/17 season until 2018, Huete played for Bayonne in the Pro D2, Top 14 and European Rugby Challenge Cup making a total of 76 appearances, scoring six tries and adding 30 points to his tally.
In 2018/19 he played for Soyaux Angouleme in the Pro D2 where he made a total of 16 appearances. Currently he is playing for Selknam, and made 9 appearances in the Super Rugby Americas.
Ahead of the Rugby World Cup 2023, Huete has been named in the training squad for Chile.
