Niall Ronan

14th Sep 1982 1.91m/100kg Openside Flanker

Like so many other players in Irish rugby, Niall Ronan spent the early part of his career playing another footballing code: Gaelic Football. One only has to look at Ronan’s athleticism and ball skills to see his link to Gaelic. After coming through the academy structure at Leinster, Ronan joined Munster in 2007-where he has made 95 appearances to date, scoring an impressive 16 tries in the process. International recognition has come for the Meath man, who made his senior international bow against Canada in 2009. Since his debut, Ronan has gone on to earn four Irish caps.
