Limavady born fly half Niall O’Connor made his maiden Ulster appearance in 2008, against the Ospreys. O’Connor played 51 times in three seasons for Ulster, kicking an impressive 212 points. In 2011, O’Connor joined Ulster’s provincial rivals Connacht on a two year deal. O’Connor done well in Galway, scoring 86 points in 15 outings. In early 2012, it was announced that O’Connor would leave his Connacht contract early and return to Ulster.
