Winners & Losers from Sunday's Champions Cup Action
- 2291
Another thrilling day of Champions Cup action has come and gone.
Three exciting games that saw Exeter Chiefs, Saracens and Glasgow Warriors all claim victories.
Here are our Winners and Losers from the day's action:
Jack Nowell - Winner
Sidelined since November, Jack Nowell would have been eager to make an early impression with the Six Nations around the corner.
The flyer had a dream start scoring a cracking solo try!
Jack Nowell, that is just superb 🙌

Nowell would have been under pressure to perform with the Six Nations just around the corner. His performance will have pleased Eddie Jones who has a number of outside backs nursing injuries.
Tudor Stroe - Loser
A tough scrummager who has been on the rise since joining Castres in 2016 from Tarbes.
The powerful front rower was given the opportunity of a full second half against Exeter but the 25-year-old was sent for an early shower after he put in a nasty clean out.
Ollie Devoto - Winner
A stellar performance by the Exeter centre - who hasn't featured for England since June 2017. Devoto made a statement against Castres in a performance that could catapult him into the England squad.
Schalk Burger - Winner
Burger is a winner for all the wrong reasons as he managed not to get penalised or even sent to the sin bin for this clean out on former Stormers teammate Deon Fourie.
Alex Goode - Winner
Another outstanding game from the Saracens fullback who is knocking on the door for an England call up. His performances are becoming more and more difficult to ignore.

Deon Fourie - Loser
It was an extremely tough game for the South African who put absolutely everything he had into getting his side a victory over Saracens.
He bossed the breakdown with little reward from the officials and was on the wrong end of Burger's dangerous clean out.
He made 13 carries for 41 running metres, beat 3 defenders and made 8 tackles before being replaced after 68 minutes.
Matt Fagerson and Callum Gibbins - Losers
Glasgow Warriors are on the brink of qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions Cup but their win over Cardiff Blues came at a costly price.
Starting flankers Matt Fagerson and Callum Gibbins both left the field inside the first 10 minutes of the game and failed to return.
Owen Lane - Winner
Lane stepped up for Cardiff Blues against Glasgow despite his side ending game on the wrong end of the result.
He was strong on defence and attack and weighed in with a brace and a try assist.
His performance against Glasgow could see him get some more minutes in the starting line up for Cardiff throughout the season.
