Watching Gloucester take the game to Northampton in the manner they did in the first-half on Saturday allays many of my fears about the future.
Yes it would have been nice to have converted it into a victory, but for 40 minutes the best side in the land couldn't cope with the Cherry and Whites, and to me that is very encouraging.
I said last week that in flashes Gloucester have shown they can rip teams apart; well 40 minutes is far more than a flash and with a bit more nouse in the second-half the game would have been put away.
