WATCH: Two ridiculous finishes from 20-year-old sees Bordeaux down Clermont

Bordeaux 20-year-old Nathanael Hulleu proved to be the match-winner in the crunch TOP14 clash against Clermont on Saturday.

Two evenly matched sides, the last clash between the clubs ended in a 16 all draw just two weeks ago and Saturday's game was no different.

Hulleu, a former France u20 international, joined Bordeaux from Grenoble last year and came off the bench for Bordeaux in what was just his third game for the side.

He proved impactful from the minute he stepped onto the pitch. Helleu took to the field following Maxime Lucu's penalty in the 57th minute and was immediately in the thick of as he claimed the kick off.

He sped past Aliverti Raka and beat two more defenders as he took Bordeaux's attack deep into Clermont's half.

This break led to the try that put Bordeaux into the lead with Jean-Baptiste Dubie going in for the try in his 100th game for the club.

Lopez and Lucu traded shots at goal before Lee grabbed another try off the back of a maul to give Clermont a handy four-point lead with 14 minutes left to play.

A yellow card to Roumat and another three via the boot of Lopez looked to sink Bordeaux but the visitors did not give in.

Lucu made it a four-point game with four minutes to go before Bordeaux made a move for the win.

Hulleu was the centre of the action again as he acrobatically finished in the corner only for the try to be disallowed for Ben Lam stepping into touch in the build-up.

Luckily for Bordeaux, Lam's step into touch came down to an intentional knockdown by Jean-Pascal Barraque which saw the centre go to the sin bin and give Bordeaux another opportunity.

Bordaux made the most of their second opportunity as Hulleu would not be denied again as he dived over for his first try for the club and the match winner in the 89th minute, this time with Alverti Raka tackling him around the neck. The French International was sent to the sin bin as Bordeaux claimed the 36-37 vicotry.
