With 76 minutes on the clock, a lineout drive from 5 metres out led to a penalty try as Gareth Davies was pinged for bringing down the maul. Controversial decision from referee Matthew Carley but the French side deserved victory for braving the harsh weather conditions and staying competitive when their backs were against the wall.
