Wales get their November Series off to a win
- 635
Tries by North and Davies gave Wales a good opening win in Novemebr as the ever deadly Halfpenny kicked a number of penalties in the 21-10 win earlier. A number of players stood out but none more so than Man of the Match Justin Tipuric
Tipuric made 13 tackles and beat 2 defenders for his 20 running meters. He covered what seemed like every blade of grass on the field as he helped Wales to a solid win.
Hadleigh Parkes and Jonathan Davies:
The Welsh midfiled closed down their opposite pair on every occasion they had. they were unstoppable and Davies scored a sensational try in the 2nd half. The only blemish being a rare PArkes missed tackle for a Scotland try early in the game.
Hamish Watson:
A stand out performer in a losing side, Watson made the most tackles of any Scotland player with 12 carries. He popped up everywhere and was close to getting the Man of the Match award.
Dan Lydiate:
21 from 21 tackles and 7 carries he was an unsung hero for the Welsh side and instrumental in their win.
