Ellis Genge sidelined by shoulder injury
Leicester Tigers have confirmed that prop Ellis Genge will require surgery to a shoulder injury.
The England international front-rower was withdrawn just before half-time in Saturday’s visit to Wasps in the Premiership and has subsequently had a scan on the shoulder problem.
Lloyd Williams signs a new Cardiff Blues contract
Cardiff Blues have confirmed Lloyd Williams has committed his future to the region by signing a new contract.
The scrum-half’s current deal was due to expire in the summer and despite rival interest, he has put pen to paper to remain with his home region.
After coming through the system at Cardiff Blues Williams has made 151 first team appearances for the Welsh side.

Gruff Rees to leave Ospreys after 13 years at the club
Gruff Rees has confirmed that he will leave the Ospreys at the end of the season, bringing to an end an almost 13-year association with the region.
Gloucester Rugby announce re-signings of four key players
Director of Rugby David Humphreys today confirmed that four members of the current Gloucester Rugby squad – Lewis Ludlow, Tom Marshall, Henry Trinder and Billy Twelvetrees have all signed new contracts with the club.
The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement earlier this week that Coaches Jonny Bell and Tim Taylor have signed new contracts while Humphreys himself revealed that he himself put pen to paper on a new deal some months ago.
