The world-beaters and the woeful in England’s class of 2015


Stuart Lancaster revealed his World Cup squad this week.

As ever on these
occasions, there was plenty of upbeat, optimistic noise.

“We feel we have
tremendous strength in depth,” England’s head coach said, reflecting on the
chosen ones.

But this column does not go in for tub-thumping.

This column
likes to think it tells it as it is.

So, with little fanfare, and less
embellishment, here is what England are taking into their World Cup training
camps.
