The seven uncapped players included in England's training squad

England head coach Eddie Jones has included seven uncapped players in his mini-training squad.

England begins preparations for their four home Autumn Nations Series fixtures in November during the camp.

The squad will meet in Richmond on Sunday 2 October and train at Twickenham Stadium.

The seven uncapped players include six forwards and one backline player.

As it stands, England have somewhat of a second-row injury crisis with Charlie Ewels, Sam Jeffries, Maro Itoje, and Nick Isiekwe all missing the camp through injury.

Series-winning captain in Australia, Courtney Lawes, has been featuring at blindside flanker for Jones but is another second-row option for England who is out injured.

Ollie Chessum and Jonny Hill are the two capped internationals that feature in the squad while Joe Launchbury has been omitted. 

This had led to Jones naming three uncapped locks in his squad. Northampton Saints' pair Alex Coles and David Ribbans have been included, the latter earning a recall despite not playing for Saints yet this season.

Ribbans has been named in several squads under Jones but has yet to make a matchday 23. Born in South Africa, Ribbans qualifies for England through his English grandfather. 

23-year-old Coles earns his first call up to the squad after a strong start to the 2022/23 season with Saints where he scored one try, and made 32 tackles and 18 carries in his first three games.

Hugh Tizard also earns his first call-up to the squad hot off the back of joining Saracens from Harlequins at the start of the season.

The 22-year-old was a standout for Harlequins last season missing just one fixture across the Premiership and Champions Cup. 

He has started both of Saracens' opening games of the season playing a full 80 minutes. 

London Irish back rower Tom Pearson also gets a recall to the squad having trained with the side ahead of the tour to Australia.

Pearson has been an attacking threat for the Exiles early on this season gaining 120 running metres from his 20 carries.

Front rowers Patrick Schickerling and Jack Walker are two other uncapped players in the squad. 

Both players went on tour with England to Australia but did not make their test debuts, although they did play against the Barbarians.

Namibian-born tighthead Schickerling has come off the bench in all three of his appearances for Exeter this season and has already scored twice.

Walker has been a regular starter for Harlequins since making the switch from Bath at the start of last season. 

His consistent performances for the Famous Quarters earned him a call up to the squad that travelled to Australia and will look to make his test debut this November.

Finally, Northampton Saints centre Fraser Dingwall has been recalled to the training squad once again. The 23-year-old earned his first call up to the England squad ahead of the 2020 Six Nations but is yet to earn a test debut.
