The European block is complete and 2 weeks of Champions Cup Rugby has seen a few upsets and a number of World Cup stars make their way back for hteir respective clubs. This weekend was full of action with a few masterclass performances.
1: Alec Hepburn - Exeter Chiefs:
9 tackles (none missed), 16 metres from 4 carries and a solid set piece showing
2: Epalahame Faiva - Benetton Rugby:
Faiva bagged a brace of tries in his sides narrow loss to Saints. He added 13 tackles and 11 carries to this. Some performance from the former Blues and Waikato man
3: Demba Bamba - Lyon:
A strong showing on a tough day for his side as they went down to Leinster
4: Alex Craig - Gloucester:
Man of the Match performance from the 22 year old against Montpellier with 14 carries and 8 from 8 on the tackle count.
5: Dom Bird - Racing 92:
15 tackles with 2 defenders beaten in an epic battle at Thomond Park with Munster and Racing 92 sharing the spoils
6: Tom Curry - Sale Sharks:
Incredible game from Curry who is showing why he is so highly rated. He made a crucial steal in his 22 when the game was still in the balance
7: Jordi Murphy - Ulster Rugby:
Incredible performance by Murphy who seemed to do it all on the park. 2 Breaks, 3 defenders beaten 10 carries, 11 tackles and a try. Josh van der Flier was seriously in the hunt to take the 7 jumper in the TOTW after a great performance for Leinster
8: Marcell Coetzee - Ulster Rugby:
Man of the Match and the Springbok did not dissapoint as Ulster beat Clermont at home. CJ Stander with 24 carries came close.

9: John Cooney - Ulster Rugby:
10: Finn Russell - Racing 92:
Some more incredible touches by Russell and he shows week in and week out that he is the full package at 10. Lloyd Evans just misses out following his performace for Gloucester
11: Keith Earls - Munster:
Incredible performance by the Irish international scoring a scrucial try at the end of the first half. Won 2 turnovers and was impressive with ball in hand in a tight game. Nemani Nadolo deserves an honourable mention after his first game back following injury for Montpellier
12: Jan Serfontein - Montpellier:
A well taken try and 17 tackles in a fine all round performance sees Serfontein pip Robbie Henshaw to the 12 jumper. The Springbok also made 2 key steals
13: Henry Slade - Exeter Chiefs:
Fast becoming one of the best in the position Slade bagged a try and a try assist
14: Jack Nowell - Exeter Chiefs:
Man of the Match as he destroyed Glasgow Warriors with ball in hand. 5 defenders beaten off 2 line breaks and a try assist
15: Elliot Daly - Saracens:
Incredible showing on debut for his new club and helped get the defending champions back on track in the competition. 2 try assists and beating 5 defenders on the day
