Craig played for Hartpury College for the 2016/17 season. He was on dual registration with Hartpury RFC & Gloucester for the 2018/19 season.
He is a former Scotland U20 international second row, and represented Scotland U20 in the World Rugby Under 20 Championship from 2016 to 2018.
Craig signed his first professional contract with Gloucester, thus promoted to the senior squad from the 2019-20 season.
A standout season at Kingsholm saw him feature for Gregor Townsend’s Scotland during the 2021 Six Nations, where he came off the bench in the wins over Italy and France.
At the end of the 2022/23 season he announced his departure from the Premiership and signed for Scarlets.
