Wales managed an away 38-41 win in their clash against Ireland in the Under 20's 6 Nations Championship. The visitors got off to a flying start with Tom Rogers and Max Williams scoring to give Wales a 12-0 lead inside 10 minutes. Ireland responded well and grew into the game as time went on. Angus Curtis managed to cross the whitewash on the 36 minute mark which reduced the deficit to 10-19 at the interval. Wales started the second half as they began the first with Tommy Reffell's score straight from the restart solidifying the Welsh foothold in the game. The sea-saw battle continued right until the end of the game with a brace from Jack O' Sullivan and scores Botham, Carson and Stewart contributing to the spectacle. Tommy O' Brien scored the best try of the game with 4 minutes remaining to give Irish fans some hope but a penalty kick from Cai Evans ultimately proved the difference between the sides.
