Gloucester Rugby is delighted to announce that Santiago Socino has extended his contract with the Club and will remain at Kingsholm.
The 29-year-old Argentine international joined the Cherry and Whites in 2020 and quickly established himself as a regular member of the first team.
Having made 20 appearances in Cherry and White, Socino has also represented Argentina on the international stage six times and is a key member of the Gloucester Rugby squad.
George Skivington is delighted to have Santiago Socino sign on.
“Santi has been a really good signing for us. He brings the right attitude to training and is the exact sort of character that we want here at Kingsholm.
“He’s a key member of the squad and is a consistent, high-level operator and we are thrilled that he has chosen to commit his future to the Club.”
Chief Operating Officer Alex Brown is pleased to have the hooker stay at the club.
“Santiago Socino becomes the latest player to re-sign with Gloucester Rugby and I’m delighted that a player of his ability has chosen to pledge his future to the Cherry and White shirt.
“We are building really nicely at the moment and a key sign of our success is the fact that players like Santiago want to keep playing for Gloucester Rugby.”
