Ealing Trailfinders can today announce the signing of Rohan O’Regan for the 2018/19 season.
The Australian arrives from Sydney University after captaining them to Shute Shield success last weekend, which brought his ability to the attention of the Trailfinders.
“Rohan is a player we have been looking at for a while and we are confident he will add a lot to our squad," said Director of rugby Ben Ward.
"He’s an excellent defender and also a great lineout option whilst having the ability to play in the back row as well as the second row, so I’m sure he’ll be a great addition to the pack for the season.”
The 23-year-old, who can play in the second row and back row has spent three years leading the university side as well as featuring for the New South Wales Country Eagles in his native Sydney.
After an impressive spell of performances, he was selected for the Sydney Stars NRC team, adding to his eye-catching rugby CV in the Southern Hemisphere.
