RFU rewards Stuart Lancaster with England contract extension until 2020

The RFU has made a huge show of faith in Stuart Lancaster by extending his
contract as England head coach until beyond the 2019 Rugby World Cup in
Japan.



The former Leeds Carnegie director of rugby and his coaching team of Graham
Rowntree, Andy Farrell and Mike Catt have signed up until 2020.

They had
been contracted until after next year’s World Cup, which is on home soil.



Lancaster had to battle to secure his permanent appointment in March 2012.


However, after rebuilt the team following their abysmal 2011 World Cup
campaign in New Zealand under Martin Johnson, the RFU
