Rennie makes one change to Wallabies for second test

After his marked influence on the game when he came off the bench, Taniela Tupou has been named in Dave Rennie’s Wallabies starting XV to take on France in the second test.

Tupou will take the place of Allan Alaalatoa who falls to the bench.

“Taniela made a real impact on both sides of the ball when he came on in at Suncorp Stadium and we’ll be looking for him to do the same from the get-go in Melbourne," Rennie said in a statement.

“We’ve worked hard and we’re well conditioned. A lack of accuracy in Brisbane denied us the opportunity to make the most of that, but we showed plenty of character to stay in the fight until the final whistle.

“We need to start fast, be more clinical and turn pressure into points at AAMI Park on Tuesday night."

The change to the front row is the only one made by Rennie. The Wallabies will have to be at their best as they only just snuck home against Les Bleus last week in the 83rd minute.
