Rainbow Cup Highlights: Scarlets v Edinburgh

A late surge from Edinburgh saw them and the Scarlets play out to a 28-28 draw in the final round of the Pro14 Rainbow Cup. The Scarlets struck first, with a try ten minutes in to lead 7-0. Edinburgh hit back with a try after 23 minutes to level matters, but a second Scarlets score around the half hour mark saw them take a 14-7 lead into the halftime break. The Scarlets picked up an early second half yellow card and Edinburgh capitalized immediately with a try to make it 14 apiece, which it remained heading into the final quarter. Edinburgh received a yellow card after 63 minutes and the Scarlets took advantage straight away, with their third try putting them up 21-14 with around 15 minutes to play. The Scarlets looked to have wrapped up the match, as they crossed for their fourth try with five minutes left making it 28-14. Edinburgh hit back a minute later with a score to reduce the deficit to seven points with three minutes left on the clock. Edinburgh would progress from deep in their own 22 and get over for their fourth try with the final play, with the conversion seeing the sides end the match deadlocked.
