Leicester Tigers are pleased to confirm the immediate signing of Richie Asiata.
The 30 year old has significant experience of playing in Super Rugby, with the Queensland Reds as well as representing Northland and Tasman in the NPC.
Asiata - a hooker - is also a Samoan international, having represented his country twice this summer, and is in their squad for the upcoming Nations Cup campaign.
Geoff Parling commented, "Richie brings top level experience with over 50 Super Rugby caps to a position of need."

Asiata added, "I'm excited to have signed for Tigers. This is a new opportunity for me on this side of the world. I've played in Australia for a while, so it's pretty exciting to try something new."
