Quins Team News: Internationals stars return to face Bear

Harlequins have named their matchday squad to take on Bristol Bears under the Friday Night Lights as Gallagher Premiership rugby returns to The Stoop (29 November, 19:45).

Joe Marler will start his 286th and final game in the Quarters following the announcement of his retirement from professional rugby yesterday, as he and The Stoop faithful have the opportunity to bid farewell to one another following the Round 7 action.

The loosehead will be joined in the starting line-up by seven teammates who have been away with their respective nations during the autumn. Dino Lamb, Alex Dombrandt, Will Porter, Cadan Murley, Luke Northmore, Oscar Beard and Rodrigo Isgro are all set to feature from the first whistle, while Fin Baxter has been named as an Impact Player.

Joining Marler in the front row for his final fixture, Jack Walker will start at hooker and Simon Kerood at tighthead. Dino Lamb will pack down with Irne Herbst in the engine room.

A blockbuster back row of Jack Kenningham, returning skipper Alex Dombrandt and the recently re-signed Will Evans will run out at The Stoop to take on the Bears.

Another re-signee, Will Porter will start at scrum-half and he’ll be partnered by Jarod Evans in the number 10 jersey.

Luke Northmore comes straight into the staring XV at inside centre, alongside an ever-present Oscar Beard.

The back three includes a further two Harlequins who have recently committed their future to the club as Cadan Murley starts on the left wing and Tyrone Green at full-back. Last, but not least, the starting XV is completed by Argentinian flyer, Rodrigo Isgro on the right wing who started all three of Los Pumas' Autumn Internationals.

Nathan Jibulu and Titi Lamostiele join Fin Baxter as front row Impact Players, while Joe Launchbury, James Chisholm, Danny Care, Jamie Benson and Nick David are all in-line to feature from the bench at The Stoop.
