With Round 2 underway we take a look at the Friday performers in the Premiership Rugby Cup:
Will Cliff - Sale Sharks:
Cliff was heavily involved in the draw and nearly stole it for the home side at the death. He directed play and took the lead today, well supported by Josh Strauss
Marcello Bosch - Saracens:
Bosch was all over on the park and was the main instigtor in the Saracens draw after they looked out of it. Bosch had a hand in both the tries for the visitors
Andrei Ostrikov - Sale Sharks:
Ostrikov got through a mountain of work for Sale with a number of telling carries and tackles
Daniel Thomas - Bristol Bears:
Thomas was great on defence and breaking Gloucester attack numerouse times plus scorig a try on the night.
Charles Piutau - Bristol Bears:
His debut for Bristol and made an immediate impact off the bench. He and the Bears faithful will be hoping he stays fit for the rest of the season
Owen Williams - Gloucester:
He worked hard on keeping his side in the game most of the match with great distribution and kick execution
