Niko Matawalu has re-joined Glasgow Warriors

Glasgow Warriors have confirmed that 32 cap Fiji scrum-half Niko Matawalu has rejoined the club having left Exeter Chiefs.

The 28-year-old was released by Exeter after failing to make an appearance.

“I’m very excited to be back. I’m really looking forward to playing in front of the fans again," he said.

In his three years at Glasgow, Matawalu made over 70 appearances for the club, scoring 26 tries, and was voted player of the season in his final year.
